They all say hadiths add details to Quran and Islam. This is the most amazing psychological manipulation I've ever experienced. Satan deserves a gold medal for it. I remember how disappointed I felt when I could not find my one and only true sunni religion in the Quran. It hardly had anything we do in our mainstream Islam. Fortunately, detailed hadiths came to my rescue. I was happy with the “explanations" because they matched what I did and believed as a Sunni. It was all so consistent! I also wanted to use them to mimic the Prophet. They said by following his way I would acquire my salvation. I just had to know what he was all about. I devoted a great amount of my time knowing him.
And the result? Slowly and indirectly I replaced God’s Quran with the Bukharian oral tabloid. In front of the detailed man made hadiths, God's book started to look vague and too general. Wasn’t that a great trick by satan? If a book consistently fails to give you what you perceive as the detailed truth you will eventually stop going to it. Just think about it: You google a keyword. You skim through the search results to find it. You only visit the sites which contain the specific keyword.
